eBrewers

I'm still sorting out my huge haul of eTopps I had delivered just after Christmas.  Out of the over 200 cards I had delivered I'm only planning on keeping about 20 to 30.  Here we have the Brewers cards I had in my portfolio that I now have in hand.

2010 Prince Fielder #d to 699
2009 Mat Gamel rookie #d to 999
 2009 Casey McGahee Rookie #d to 749
2007 Yovani Gallardo Rookie #d to 999

2007 JJ Hardy #d to 749

2006 Prince Fielder Rookie #d to 999
2006 Chris Capuano #d to 499
2005 Rickie Weeks
2005 JJ Hardy
2005 Brewers Team Card. Not a single player featured on this card is still with the team.

2004 Lyle Overbay.

Well that's it.

A recent card show pick up.. The Mighty Mo!!!

The card shows here are kind of a joke.  I've talked about them before.  Same two guys with the same stuff and they usually have to team up with the stamp and coin guys to fill up the space.  But I was jawing with the guys and notice this nice Paul Molitor card sitting behind the glass.  He flipped me a price that was just right and I walked away with a nice new card for my Paulie Mo and Brewers Collection.

Just a super nice patch card numbered to just 28!!

Ryan Braun NL 2011 MVP!!!

Well it's a nice conciliation prize to not having gone to the World Series.  Ryan Braun was just named this years NL MVP.

By now I'm sure anyone who's a baseball fan knows this.  So congrats to the Hebrew Hammer and to Justin Verlander for his AL MVP award.  And it's only 88 days till spring training!!

Something that rhymes with Purple

I finally finished my 2011 Topps Chrome Purple refractor team set.  I have to say that the purple refractors look great although they scanned more blue.  I also just won my last atomic refractor to complete the atomic refractor set as well, but it hasn't got here yet.  So until it does here are the six 2011 Topps Chrome Brewers Purple refractor team set.

1976 Topps Team Set Complete at last.

I've been dragging my feet here I know.  I finally got around to looking for a 76 Hank Aaron card to complete my team set.  I looked all over. COMC, JustCommons, all my LCS's and in the end I just bought one off of eBay with free shipping. All the ones on COMC were kinda beat up for what I wanted to pay. I just got it in the mail the other day and now I can finally scratch another 1970's complete set off the list.  I decided with COMC's Black Friday shipping deal coming up and having a large credit still on the site that I would see how big of a dent I could put in my 70's need list and I have to say I pretty much nailed them all.  Now just waiting for the day after Thanksgiving to ship them all.  But until I then here is the 1976 Topps Baseball Brewers Team set, in numerical order.

Whew that's a lot of scans.  Hopefully I'll have my 72 set done here by the end of the month and that'll be next.  I'm slowly working my way through my needs on my Brewers team set so be sure to check out my master Brewers Team set need list over at Collector's Crack.
