Congrats to Carlos Gomez the Brewers first Golden Glove Award winner in 31 years!!

It might have been a dismal season with the whole Ryan Braun thing, but there were a few bright spots. And Carlos' defense was one of them.  And you may ask who was the last Brewer to win before Gomez? Why that was my favorite baseball player of all time Robin Yount who won it way back in 1982 along with his first MVP award.

And congrats to former Brewer JJ Hardy for his award too.

    I would have never guessed it had been that long for any team. But I guess the Brewers of the 90s and 2000s were known more for their power (and strikeouts) than for their defensive prowess.
